HEL - A black candle to honour and work with Hel - a Norse goddess of the Underworld, Hel is associated with inevitable justice, immortal strength, control over spirits. She is cold and rigid and is often linked with a (not exclusive!) masculine energy of boundary setting, logic and authority. I like to link her with Morrana - a winter crone deity who is merciful but refutes the false 'love and light' spirituality. Queen of endings - she gently closes the door so another can open.

Made with a potent, typically masculine, mixture of essential oils of frankincense, cedar, vetiver, black pepper, oud and sandalwood. Topped with herbs of mugwort and lavender and crowned with a deep obsidian. Due to the oil profile this would make an ideal 'man candle' gift!!
 
Each of our witchy candles is handmade with organic soy wax, fresh herbs and spices essential oils, biodegradable glitter and a bit of witchy goodness! 
 
Each candle is handmade to order therefore will be very slightly different every time - sometimes we substitute the ingredients for ones with similar intentions if they are proving hard to get hold of! Listing is for one candle.  Each one contains approx 200ml (8 oz) of wax (approx 40 hours burn time).
